STARTING AT CLEAR ROUND

We offer both full and partial lesson programs in either private or semi-private groups to our boarders and to out-of-barn clients.  We work one-on-one with our clients and while most are two or less, our classes never exceed three riders.  We build on positive reinforcement and treat our riders with courtesy.  We offer instruction for a full range of levels and ages, from pleasure riders to hunters, equitation and jumpers ---all the way up to Grand Prix.  And we have also successfully prepared several young competitors for the North American Young Rider Finals.

All Clear Round clients have their own horses and lessons are taught by head trainer, Paolo Tropia and his wife, Stephanie, and assistant trainer, Carolyn Guscott. At Clear Round the focus is on proper European Dressage and good basics.

We are on-time and dependable.  Our lessons are thirty minutes in length and riders warm their horses up before the lesson begins.  Each lesson is a half hour of focused instruction with no outside interruption allowed.  Our programs combine both intensive flat work and jumping. Courses over fences combine gymnastics, lines and other exercises designed to prepare our clients to ride various courses.
